- Development of new types of bioceramics based on hydroxyapatite and its composites
- Bioactive materials and biocomposites
- Ceramics-biopolymers, evaluation of bioactivity
- Development of environmentally friendly cements and utilization of municipal and industrial waste for
cement production, - Re-use and/or immobilisation of industrial waste
- Ceramic foams
